Our co-curricular activities are designed to help your child explore their potential as well as coaching them for academic, sporting or performing arts excellence. Students get the opportunity to work together around their interest and follow their passions.
Most activities take place on Monday to Friday afternoons from 2.15 pm to 3.30 pm.
or our young learners, we believe it is important to provide a nurturing, supportive and stimulating environment with children of similar ages. Young learners can attend Crèche, where our activities help promote learning and physical well-being through play.
The list of sports available include basketball, soccer, cricket, badminton, rugby, volleyball, softball, netball, touch football, swimming, ten pin bowling, rock climbing, parkour and yoga. We also offer boxing as a fitness training only – there is no body contact or sparring in this activity.
We offer 3 types of martial arts activities - Taekwondo, Aikido and Karate - which allow our students to learn the skills and techniques to build strength and stamina. Students are taught self-esteem and discipline through the practice of self-defence.
We have a wide range of arts activities, from jewellery making, batik painting, clay, rag work and weaving to creative design, oil painting, video game design and Adobe Photoshop workshops.
There are different activities each term, so our students can try a range of media, skills and techniques.
Here at LF, our performing arts activities include orchestra, choir, the beginner band, the instrumental academy, a jazz rock ensemble, chamber music, strings, musical productions, speech and drama, dance and ballet.
Students are encouraged to think outside the box with robotics engineering at LF. This program deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing. The robot kits will then be theirs to keep, take home and housetrain.
Through the Kiddo Science program, students can explore the world of Science with fun and interactive hands-on experiments run by trained facilitators on our school campus.
Topics include: Gyroscope, Newton Laws, Archimedes Screw, Solar Power, Electroplating, Chemical Rocket, Solar System, Photosynthesis and many more!
Other activities include cooking, board games, the yearbook group, where students design and manage the production of our annual yearbook, and many more.
